Asus is about to release another gaming monitor from Republic of Gamers lineup of products. Entitled Asus ROG Swift PG248Q, the new-comer employs 24-inch TN panel with Full HD resolution (16:9 aspect ratio). One of the most striking features ascribed to the model is superfast response time – 1 ms. The display is also characterized by the incorporation of an unusual stand base with the insertion of red-painted circle around the foot.
Asus ROG Swift PG248Q boasts the maximal possible refresh rate – 180 Hz (dynamically tuned from the nominal 144 Hz). The included panel offers 350 cd/m2 of maximal screen brightness, 16.7 m of displayed colors and wide viewing angles (170/160 degrees H/V).
The model comes fitted with two video ports (HDMI & DisplayPort), a pair of USB 3.0 ports & a single 3.5-mm audio port. The display is equipped with VESA bracket for wall mounting and allows for multiple stand adjustments (height, swivel, pivot). The monitor is thought to consume 65 W of power.
The ROG Swift PG248Q supports a number of advanced technologies. Among them are: Nvidia G-Sync, GamePlus (timer, pointer, FSP counter), GameVisual (different operational modes), Flicker Free, Low Blue Light, Trace Free, and Color Temperature Selection.
